Scott “The Sandman” Erickson, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, is a Jr. Middleweight. He turned pro in November 1993, on the undercard of Peter McNeeley vs. Butch Kelley, in Sarasota, Florida, with a 3rd round knockout over Emanuel Babo. Scott compiled an impressive 54-6 amateur record, winning several amateur titles and “Outstanding Boxer” awards. As a professional, he is 6-5-1 (5 K.O.’s). After his sensational debut, and after a couple of more wins, he lost focus, and picked up his losses. Scott is a versatile fighter. He is a quick handed boxer, with good balance, good defense, and K.O. power in either hand.
